Our answer first
Gamma's trick is turning a prompt into something that looks finished: a deck, a document, a one-page site. Claude and ChatGPT now do the writing half of that well, so if you already pay for one of them, a second generator with its own credit meter may be the part you do not need. What is still missing after the agent writes is a home for the result: an address to send, remarks from the people who read it, versions you can put back, your own domain. That is the part Birta does, and it does it for whatever any agent made.
One prompt: the deck as a page
Paste this into Claude or ChatGPT, or into the chat in Birta's panel.
Build a single-page web presentation as a static bundle: index.html plus one
style.css, no build step, no framework.
Audience: [who reads it]. The one decision I need from them: [approve, fund,
book a call]. Content: [paste notes, numbers, the outline].
One full-height section per idea, a short heading and at most three lines or
one chart each. Keyboard arrows and scroll both move between sections.
Style: [two words], system fonts, one accent colour. Use my real content,
no placeholder text. Then send the address to one person who would have received the Gamma link and see what they say. More prompts for publishing and collecting remarks are in AI website prompts.
If you need slides, this is not us
- Someone presents it from PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides, or needs the
.pptx. Gamma exports PDF, PNG and PowerPoint; Birta publishes web pages and can hand you the files, not a slide file. - You want to edit layouts visually, card by card, without asking an agent.
- The team builds every deck from shared brand templates inside one editor.
- It is really an app: logins, a database, anything running on a server. Birta serves static pages only.
Gamma is good at that job, and its export path is real: per its help centre, PDF, PNG and PPTX, with Google Slides reached through a PPTX upload.
What the agent-plus-Birta route gives instead
Gamma's own plans show where the value sits once the content is written. Per Gamma's pricing article, the free plan has 400 credits that do not refresh, Plus removes the "Made with Gamma" badge, and custom domains, password protection and per-viewer analytics start at Pro, with up to 10 multi-page sites on your own domains. Plans are billed per user.
On Birta those same publishing pieces sit on Free:
- A link and your own domain. Every page gets an address; connecting a domain needs no paid plan.
- Remarks straight on the page. Send a version's address and readers pin comments to the heading or chart they mean, no account needed. Your agent reads the threads, edits the same draft and resolves each one with a note on what changed.
- Versions and rollback. Each publish is kept; the one the board saw last month goes live again in one step.
- A password, set by asking the agent, and visitor counts for the page.
No credits either: the writing is done by the agent you already have, so a long revision session costs nothing on the Birta side. Team is the step when several people share the project with its materials and decisions next to the page, or the page must go out without the Birta mark.
It also works for output that was never a deck. A research summary in markdown, a report the agent wrote as .md files with index.md as the start page, a client proposal: Birta renders each as a page with the same review loop. Gamma's job ends at "generated"; ours begins there.
The honest alternatives
Unranked; the deciding question is whether you need slides as a file, a design tool, or a page.
| Instead of Gamma | What it is for | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Beautiful.ai | Brand-consistent business decks with smart layouts | Strong for teams with a strict template |
| Pitch | Collaborative decks, presented live | Real-time editing with colleagues |
| Plus AI | AI slides inside Google Slides and PowerPoint | Keeps you in the slide tool you already use |
| Canva | Design suite with presentations among many formats | When the deck is one of many visual assets |
| Tome, Presentations.AI | Prompt-to-deck generators like Gamma | Same category, different taste and pricing |
| Your agent plus Birta | A page someone reads, comments on and you revise | No slide editor, no PPTX export |
Publish what your agent already wrote
Describe the page in Birta's chat and its agent builds and publishes it. Or connect the agent you already use.
