Open a Markdown file as a page.
No account, nothing uploaded.
Drop the .md file in or paste the text. It shows right here as a readable page; nothing leaves your browser until you ask for a link.
Drop the .md file here
or paste Markdown with Ctrl+V
One document up to 1 MB. Pictures by web address show; pictures from a folder next to it do not travel.
How it works
Open the document
Drop the .md file on the zone, choose it with the button, or paste the text. It shows at once as a readable page: headings, lists, tables, links.
Read it and fix it
Switch to Markdown to change the text; the page follows every edit. Phone shows it at a phone's width.
Send it, if you need to
Press "Send it as a link" and the document gets an address that anyone can open for 24 hours. Until you press it, nothing leaves your browser.
Why a Markdown file opens as text with symbols
Markdown is plain text with marks in it: # before a heading, * around a bold word, | between table cells. An editor or a viewer reads the marks and lays out the page. A mail app, a messenger or a phone's file preview shows the text itself, marks and all. The file is fine: it needs something that reads Markdown.
This page reads it for you. One thing does not come along: pictures the document takes from a folder next to it stay on the computer it came from, and their captions stand in their place.
When you need a link, and what a project adds
Reading needs no link. A link is for when someone else has to read the document: a client, a colleague, a phone where the file opens as text. The address opens for 24 hours.
Save it in your account and the document becomes a project with a permanent address. Your agent keeps editing it there, each edit a new version at the same link, and the people you share it with leave comments right on its paragraphs.

Read a .md file someone sent you
