How to share Cursor generated HTML
Cursor wrote index.html into your project, and nothing in Cursor puts that file on the web. Connect Birta once and the HTML from any project gets an address you own: your domain, your choice of who opens it, the same link after every edit.

What Cursor gives you today
In the project: a file on your disk
Cursor saves the HTML next to your code. To show it to anyone you find a host and upload it yourself, again after every change.
Canvas: a snapshot for your team
Publish on a canvas gives a read-only link to members of your team on Pro, Teams and Enterprise. Free accounts cannot create shares, and Legacy Privacy Mode blocks them.
Connect Cursor to Birta once
Give Cursor a place to publish the page it already has.
- 1
Add Birta to Cursor in one click
Add to CursorOpen the link and confirm the install Cursor offers; it writes the entry itself. You need Node.js 20 or newer.
- 2
Link did not open Cursor? Add it by hand
Add a Birta entry with the address https://birta.dev/mcp to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json in one. On Enterprise an admin can limit which servers are allowed.
- 3
Ask it for something, then confirm
The first request comes back with a link. Open it, sign in with a one-time code from your email or with Google, and confirm access. No key to copy.
Then ask Cursor to publish
Copy this into the conversation where Cursor made your page.
Publish the HTML page you just made as a site on Birta. Create a project named "Pricing calculator", put the page into index.html with its CSS and JavaScript, publish it, and give me the live link.
- published, version 1
- here is the live link: pricing-calculator.birta.link
Share it. Keep making it better.
Tell Cursor what to change. It publishes again to the same address.
Same URL after edits
Each change is a new version on the same address. Every version is kept, rollback is one step.
Only certain people
Close version links to everyone but the people you add. They sign in and leave remarks on the page.
A few good questions
Give your page an address.
Connect once, publish from any chat.
