How to share Claude Code generated HTML
Claude Code wrote index.html into your project, and a file on disk has no link; its artifacts publish a page only to claude.ai, on paid plans. Connect Birta once and the HTML gets an address you own: your domain, your choice of who opens it, the same link after every edit.

What Claude Code gives you today
In the repository: a file, not an address
Claude Code writes the page into your project folder. To show it to anyone you need a host, and the work of putting the file there again after every change.
Artifacts: a page on claude.ai
Claude Code can publish a session page to a private URL on claude.ai and share it. That takes Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise with a claude.ai sign-in, and the page stays on claude.ai’s domain.
Connect Claude Code to Birta once
Give Claude Code a place to publish the page it already has.
- 1
Add Birta in the terminal
claude mcp add birta -- npx -y @birta/cli mcpRun this once in your project’s folder. Add --scope user after add to have it in every project. It needs Node.js 20 or newer; nothing else to install.
- 2
Already on claude.ai? It comes along
Connectors you added to Claude on claude.ai are available in a Claude Code session signed in with the same account.
- 3
Ask once, confirm once
The first request that needs your account returns a link. Open it, sign in with a one-time code from your email or with Google, and repeat the request. No key to copy.
Then ask Claude Code to publish
Copy this into the conversation where Claude Code made your page.
Publish the HTML page you just made as a site on Birta. Create a project named "Pricing calculator", put the page into index.html with its CSS and JavaScript, publish it, and give me the live link.
- published, version 1
- here is the live link: pricing-calculator.birta.link
Share it. Keep making it better.
Tell Claude Code what to change. It publishes again to the same address.
Same URL after edits
Each change is a new version on the same address. Every version is kept, rollback is one step.
Only certain people
Close version links to everyone but the people you add. They sign in and leave remarks on the page.
A few good questions
Give your page an address.
Connect once, publish from any chat.
