How to share a Claude artifact
Claude made the artifact, and Publish already gives it a link on Anthropic’s domain. Connect Birta once and the same artifact gets an address you own: your domain, your choice of who opens it, the same link after every edit.
Connect Claude to Birta
What Claude gives you today
Publish: a link on Anthropic’s domain
Anyone with the link opens it, no Claude account needed on Free, Pro and Max. On Team and Enterprise it stays inside the organization until an owner allows public links. Unpublish once, and that link is gone for good.
What it is not: an address you own
No domain of yours, no say over who opens which version, and in July 2026 published artifacts turned up in Google results. The artifact lives where Claude keeps it.
Connect Claude to Birta once
Give Claude a place to publish the artifact it already has.
- 1
Add Birta from Claude’s directory
Open the card in Claude’s directoryThe card carries the details, so there is no address to type.
- 2
No card? Add it by hand
https://birta.dev/mcpCustomize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds it for everyone.
- 3
Turn it on in the chat and sign in once
Enable Birta in the conversation’s connector menu. The first time, a browser tab asks you to sign in — with a one-time code from your email or with Google. No key to copy.
Then ask Claude to publish
Copy this into the conversation where Claude made your artifact.
Publish the artifact that is open in this conversation as a site on Birta. Create a project named "Pricing calculator", put it into index.html with its CSS and JavaScript, publish it, and give me the live link. If anything in it needs Claude to run, tell me what will change first.
- published, version 1
- here is the live link: pricing-calculator.birta.link
Share it. Keep making it better.
Tell Claude what to change. It publishes again to the same address.
Same URL after edits
Each change is a new version on the same address. Every version is kept, rollback is one step.
Only certain people
Close version links to everyone but the people you add. They sign in and leave remarks on the page.
A few good questions
Give your artifact an address.
Connect once, publish from any chat.
