How to share a Claude Code artifact
Claude Code made the artifact, and Share already gives it a link on claude.ai, with versions. Connect Birta once and the same page gets an address you own: your domain, your choice of who opens it, the same link after every edit.

What Claude Code gives you today
Share: a link on claude.ai
On Pro and Max the public link opens without a claude.ai sign-in; on Team and Enterprise it stays inside the organization until an owner allows public sharing. Each publish becomes a version, and you choose which one viewers see.
The limits: plan, sign-in, domain
Artifacts need a claude.ai sign-in and do not work with an API key, Bedrock, Vertex or Foundry. A page is one file up to 16 MiB with no backend, public viewers see “Content is user-generated and unverified.”, and the address stays on claude.ai.
Connect Claude Code to Birta once
Give Claude Code a place to publish the artifact it already has.
- 1
Add Birta in the terminal
claude mcp add birta -- npx -y @birta/cli mcpRun this once in your project’s folder. Add --scope user after add to have it in every project. It needs Node.js 20 or newer; nothing else to install.

Already on claude.ai? It comes along
Connectors you added to Claude on claude.ai are available in a Claude Code session signed in with the same account.
- 3
Ask once, confirm once
The first request that needs your account returns a link. Open it, sign in with a one-time code from your email or with Google, and repeat the request. No key to copy.
Then ask Claude Code to publish
Copy this into the conversation where Claude Code made your artifact.
Publish the artifact that is open in this conversation as a site on Birta. Create a project named "Pricing calculator", put it into index.html with its CSS and JavaScript, publish it, and give me the live link. If anything in it needs Claude Code to run, tell me what will change first.
- published, version 1
- here is the live link: pricing-calculator.birta.link
Share it. Keep making it better.
Tell Claude Code what to change. It publishes again to the same address.
Same URL after edits
Each change is a new version on the same address. Every version is kept, rollback is one step.
Only certain people
Close version links to everyone but the people you add. They sign in and leave remarks on the page.
