How to share an OpenCode artifact
OpenCode has no word for what it builds: it writes files and lets you share the conversation. Connect Birta once and the thing it built gets an address you own: your domain, your choice of who opens it, the same link after every edit.
Connect OpenCode to Birta
What OpenCode gives you today
What it built: files in a project
A calculator or a dashboard is index.html with its CSS and JavaScript in your working directory.
What it shares: the session
/share publishes the conversation on opncd.ai. Anyone with the link reads the chat; the page is not in it.
Connect OpenCode to Birta once
Give OpenCode a place to publish the artifact it already has.
- 1
Open opencode.json
Add a remote server under mcp in the project’s opencode.json, or in your global config: name it Birta, type remote.
- 2
Paste the address
https://birta.dev/mcpThis is the server’s url. OpenCode is open source, so there is no plan to check.
- 3
Sign in once
The first time OpenCode uses Birta, a browser tab asks you to sign in — with a one-time code from your email or with Google. No key to copy.
Then ask OpenCode to publish
Copy this into the conversation where OpenCode made your artifact.
Publish the artifact that is open in this conversation as a site on Birta. Create a project named "Pricing calculator", put it into index.html with its CSS and JavaScript, publish it, and give me the live link. If anything in it needs OpenCode to run, tell me what will change first.
- published, version 1
- here is the live link: pricing-calculator.birta.link
Share it. Keep making it better.
Tell OpenCode what to change. It publishes again to the same address.
Same URL after edits
Each change is a new version on the same address. Every version is kept, rollback is one step.
Only certain people
Close version links to everyone but the people you add. They sign in and leave remarks on the page.
A few good questions
Give your artifact an address.
Connect once, publish from any chat.
