Birta

Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT connects to Birta through a custom connector. This needs a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise or Edu) — custom connectors are not available on the free plan.

  1. 1. Turn on developer mode

Open ChatGPT, click your profile picture → SettingsConnectorsAdvanced, and turn on Developer mode. On a Team or Enterprise workspace an owner enables it in the workspace settings first.

  2. 2. Add the Birta connector

Go to SettingsConnectorsCreate (the Add custom connector button). Give it a name — for example Birta — and paste this server URL:

    https://birta.dev/mcp

ChatGPT only supports remote connectors over HTTPS, which is exactly what this URL is. Confirm to create the connector.

  3. 3. Allow access

The first time ChatGPT uses the connection, it opens Birta in your browser. Sign in with the one-time code sent to your email, then allow access. ChatGPT keeps its own access after that and connects on its own — there is no key to copy or paste.

  4. 4. Use it and check

In a new chat, enable the Birta connector from the message box, then ask ChatGPT to list your Birta projects. If it can see them, the connection is ready.
