Connect Muse

Muse is Meta's personal agent — in its app, at muse.ai and in WhatsApp; this is not Muse Code. Its settings have no field for an address: you ask Muse in the chat, and it builds the connection to Birta itself. Meta does not review custom connectors, so Muse asks you to confirm what it is about to connect.

  1. 1. Paste this into Muse

    Send it as an ordinary message in the chat:

    Muse reads our instructions, builds the connection on its own and tells you when it is ready.

  2. 2. If it asks you for an address

    Should Muse ask where to connect, give it this address and let it name the connection Birta:

  3. 3. Allow access

    The first time Muse uses the connection, it opens Birta in your browser. Sign in — with the one-time code sent to your email or with your Google account — then allow access. Muse keeps its own access after that and connects on its own — there is no key to copy or paste.

  4. 4. How it works

    Muse works on a draft of your site: it writes the pages file by file, starting from scratch or from a copy of a version you already published. Nothing reaches your site address while it does, which keeps serving the version you published last and shows nothing at all until the first one.

    Muse publishes the draft itself once it considers the work done — you do not have to give it the go-ahead. It comes back with two addresses: your site address, which is the live site, and that version's own address, where you mark what you want changed straight on the page.

    Tell Muse what to change, or leave remarks on the version's page and say you have — it makes the changes and publishes the next version.

    Want to look before it goes live? Say so — ask Muse for a draft first and it gives you the draft's own address and waits for your word. The draft keeps that address round after round, so you refresh the page you already have open.

  5. 5. Check that it works

    Ask Muse to list your Birta projects. If it can see them, the connection is ready and you can ask it to publish or update a site.
